Jade Roller & Gua Sha Facial Set

$28.00

The jade roller and gua sha originate back to seventh-century China. Apart from the duo being aesthetically pleasing, the real healing comes from the natural coldness of the crystal. Essentially, the cold restricts blood flow to a particular area. The pressure from the tools pushes the lymph fluid to drain, filtering out toxins in the face.

These facial massage tools help in increasing blood circulation, releasing muscle tension, decreasing inflammation, smoothing fine lines/wrinkles, and may aid in the absorption of products into your skin.

  • Jade Roller
  • Gua Sha
  • Satin lined bag to protect and store your gems. Literally.

Jade Roller: Aids in blood circulation and lymphatic drainage, resulting in a less puffy and more glowy appearance.

Gua Sha: Supports lymphatic drainage. It also aids in muscle and sinus tension in the face, neck, nasal passages, and temples, soothing the area.

For best results, refrigerate or freeze before use.

1. Prep your skin by applying your favorite serum or night cream to your skin. Preferably one that has a little 'slip' to it. We suggest the Clear Glow Facial Oil.
2.The key when it comes to jade rolling is to move upwards with gentle pressure. Starting with your neck, use the wider end to move upwards. You want to target the sides of your neck and just underneath your jawline. Press and move slowly up your neck and to the base of your chin. This soft massage gives your neck a stress-relieving massage, while also promoting circulation.
3. Now it is time to move to face. Regardless of where you are starting, you always want to roll outwards, away from the center of your face. A simple way to begin is to start on either side of your nose, pushing gently outwards as you roll. You can proceed to your forehead, moving upwards (once you’ve covered the other side of your nose).
4. You can now switch to the smaller side of the roller and simply roll from the inner corner of your eye out. *Since the skin under and above your eye is extra delicate, you’ll want to use caution when treating these areas (no pressing too hard or rough movements).
5. Clean your with warm soapy water before you tuck it away for later use.

When it comes to gua sha, the same rules apply. Begin at the neck and work upwards. Using the heart-shaped side, glide along the jawline and chin in outward motions. *Rotate the gua sha to align with the natural contours of your forehead and cheeks and sweep outwards. You can finish up by using the corners of the tool to relive tension as pressure points such as outer nose, temples, cheekbones.

*Due to natural stone formation, each gem is slightly different.
