Each Ara Butter is carefully whipped and whisked to achieve a balance of lightness and refinement. While whipping creates a soft, airy texture, whisking further smooths the formula, helping it glide effortlessly across the skin without tugging or drag.

This process allows the butter to melt on contact, spread evenly, and absorb gradually — enhancing both application and long-lasting comfort.

Chosen as the foundation of Ara Butter, virgin, unrefined shea butter retains its naturally occurring vitamins, fatty acids, and skin-conditioning compounds that are often lost during heavy refining. In a body butter formula, it provides deep nourishment, helps reinforce the skin barrier, and delivers long-lasting softness.

In this whipped butter, apricot kernel oil helps lighten the density of shea butter, improving spreadability and absorption without diluting richness. It contributes to the butter’s smooth glide, helping soften dry skin while supporting elasticity and overall skin comfort.

Jojoba oil is incorporated to balance the richness of the formula and help the butter absorb more evenly. Its wax-ester composition closely resembles the skin’s natural oils, making it especially effective in a body butter for supporting moisture retention without disrupting the skin’s natural balance.

There’s a clean sweetness to the smell. Hard to describe, but it makes you smell edible… It’s in heavy rotation, especially on days I want to feel put together without doing the most.

Alluring "Eji Owuro"
I have been using “Eji owuro” among other Itoju Ara products for more than 3 years now. I love the glow and softness on my skin and how it melts into it each time I apply it lavishly.
